I wanted to address one of the issues I raised in my first post and that is this misguided and false recall that Commerce voters will decide on November 4 along with the Presidential election. This recall is a political machination launched against myself and Robert Fierro by Councilmember Argumedo, his Planning Commissioner and local "business man" Roger Bagne and a host of former councilmembers that left the city in bad condition following their undistinguished and sometimes corrupt terms in office.
Since Robert and I have been on the council, with the help of Mayor Pro Tem Joe Aguilar we have improved the city vastly while establishing a $15 billion reserve to protect Commerce's programs and services. This reserve and the programs we have established are about improving the quality of life in Commerce for you and your families while keeping our community safe with the top quality fire and law enforcement services provided by the Los Angeles County Fire and Sheriff's Department.
